Reflections Revisited

As I said in my introductory posts discussing caning, the usage of the cane is often seen nowadays as the climax of a variety of punishments rather than something that exists in splendid isolation.

It is often said that delivering a caning to an already warmed behind is less impactful and a 'cold' caning delivered to unmarked buttocks is a more terrifying prospect.

Asthetically I definitely prefer just to see the welts of the cane, nothing more should be required.

And if multiple implements are required is it not better to start with the cane, then perhaps the strap, and then to finish a hand spanking (with fingers exploring every welt)?
